Congratulations to Haileybury's GCSE Candidates

Congratulations to Haileybury's GCSE candidates, who have achieved fantastic results of 95.9% A* - C grades in their exams. Five pupils - Hannah Grundy (C), Rosie Woodcock (C), Florence Hill (Aby), Natasha Ahmed (Alb) and Edward Karsten (Tr) - have been named among the top 10 in the country in English Literature in their iGCSE examinations. Another two - Hannah Grundy and Jessica Hui (H) - achieved top 10 status in their English Language iGCSE examinations, which were sat earlier this summer. Haileybury's A Level and IB Results in 2008

Haileybury is delighted to have attained its best ever results in 2008, both at A Level and in the IB. This achievement is a great tribute to the hard work of our pupils, the support of their parents and the dedication of our teachers. It continues and, indeed, strengthens a trend of considerable improvement over the last ten years or so. Record A-Level Success

A Level pupils at Haileybury have emphasised the continued strengthening of the school by posting record A Level results and a 100% pass rate. There has been an almost 10% increase in the percentage of A Level grades at A or B at 82,1%, up from 72,5% in 2007. In addition, the average IB point score was 35.4, up from 34.9 in 2007. The average UCAS point score per pupil is 403.77 and the UCAS points per subject is 101.70. The percentage of A grades is 49.7%, a very substantial advance on the previous best, 43.5% in 2005.
