Louis to swim for Hertfordshire
Louis George has been chosen to represent the Hertfordshire Schools’ swimming team after winning the backstroke (juniors) race at the selection gala held recently.
In the same gala, Alex Lodge was very unlucky not to qualify in the fly event, finishing third by a very small margin. Alex was carrying an injury which hampered his performance. Only the first two places qualify for selection.
The county team will compete in the ESSA Division 10 gala at Barnet Copthall on 16 May against swimmers from Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
