Haileybury Choir on the Radio and TV
Haileybury’s Chapel Chamber choir will be taking centre stage in the media again, starting with a half hour broadcast this Sunday (25/9) on Radio 2 at 8.30pm.
Then next month, the Choir will appear on two Songs of Praise programmes, one on 30 October and another on 20 November. The programme are usually broadcast on Sunday evenings from 5 – 6pm.
The appearance on 30 October features "The Nation’s Favourite Hymns" and was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall this month, while the programme on 20 November will contain material recorded at the Sage Centre, Gateshead in April during the School Choirs’ Showcase.
Another big event takes place on Christmas Day when the Choir will perform as part of The Big Sing For Christmas. Details and timings of this programme will be publicised at a later date.
