Athletes excel
Congratulations to Lower Sixth pupil, Jack Hobbs (K), who won the silver medal at the National Athletics Champs in Birmingham last Sunday, with a personal best jump of 1.90 m.
He has subsequently been ranked as the number 2 high jumper in the Under 17 age group in the UK.
Haileybury’s other star athlete, Antonio Infantino (Tr), is now ranked 4th in the world in the 100m in his age group (also Under 17), with a time of 10.69 seconds.
