Annual HMUN gets under way
Welcome to the more than 500 pupils from three countries who arrive at Haileybury today to participate in the annual Haileybury Model United Nations gathering.
There are 97 delegations taking part in the conference, which runs from later this afternoon until Sunday.
The main event, the General Assembly, takes place on Sunday from 11am to 4.30pm.
Agenda items for discussion vary from "The question of restrictions on female religious clothing" to "The question of the restoration of cultural property to the country of origin" to "The question of Gaza and the West Bank" so debate should be strong.
