Congratulations to Matilda (Removes, Alban’s), who reached the semi-final of the BBC Songs of Praise and BBC Radio 2 Junior Young Chorister of the Year.

Performing at the prestigious Hallé St Peter’s in Manchester, Matilda sang Bob Chilcott’s This Day. The judging panel included Gareth Malone, Michelle John and Harry Bradford, and the show was hosted by the Rev. Kate Bottley and Aled Jones. This was a tremendous achievement and she can rightly feel very proud of her performance.

The semi-final is nowavailable to watch on BBC iPlayer.
