This week, the U17 boys delivered an impressive performance against Berkhamsted, winning by 9 wickets. After restricting their hosts to 176-9 off 30 overs, they chased down the target in just 23 overs. James (Vths) scored a composed 74 not out, while captain Leo (L6) led from the front with an unbeaten 94.
Together, they put on a superb 163-run partnership for the second wicket. The boys now look ahead to their national quarter-final against Millfield on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the U17 girls have already booked their place in the National Finals Day, following a strong quarter-final win over Marlborough. A huge well done to both teams – we look forward to more exciting cricket to come!
