Mr Matcham was one of a very small number of primary and secondary school winners from across Hertfordshire in 2023. Mr Matcham has played a significant role in the development of Haileybury Turnford in recent years, where he served as Chair of Governors between 2015 and 2022, culminating in a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in March 2022.
“Mr Matcham has played a critical role in developing the quality of education at Haileybury Turnford, working closely with senior staff and has been integral in developing our partnership work with Haileybury. We were delighted that Mr Matcham’s achievements were recognised in the Hertfordshire awards. It is a clear indicator of the school’s improvement journey, and we are delighted that Mr Matcham continues to serve on the school’s governing body.” – Haileybury Turnford
