1st XV in successful pre-season tour

Haileybury’s 1st XV undertook a pre-season rugby tour of Cornwall, under the guidance of this year’s captain, David Gregory (BFr).

The team played three times, firstly against Redruth Colts, last year’s national clubs quarter finalists, a match which was won 40 – 12 by Haileybury.

The next fixtures were as part of a triangular with Truro School and Marlborough College, in which Haileybury ran out winners by 18 – 8 and 24 – 12 respectively.

Well done to the team for a great start to the season!
