HM Submarine Triumph left  Alexandria on 26th December 1941 to land agents near Athens. Thereafter she was to patrol in  the Aegean. It is presumed she hit a mine off the island of Milo, southeast of the Greek mainland after successfully making the landing. She was presumed missing as from the 9th. Thus above date of death may be wrong.
