Haileybury is an outstanding British independent co-educational boarding school, offering modern boarding and day provision for 875 boys and girls aged 11-18. Established in 1862, we are situated on a glorious and historic 500-acre campus in Hertfordshire, just 20 miles north of London.
The HCA will be a member of the Health Centre team who provide 24 hour care during term time. The primary objective of the role is to support the trained nurses in the provision of nursing care for Haileybury pupils and in setting a high standard of nursing practice in both management of acute and ongoing medical conditions.
Please note that all duties undertaken by the job holder must be carried out efficiently, effectively, within deadlines and to standards acceptable to the College’s management team.
The nature of a 24 hour seven day week boarding school means flexibility is vital. As a result, in addition to the core working hours, the job holder will be required to work reasonable additional hours as are necessary. This will include working early mornings, evenings and at weekends, especially on special event days.
