Haileybury are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Head of Strings is required to teach, lead and develop the Strings department.

The post holder will be an inspirational and committed individual who would help to foster the strong musical tradition of the School. Teachers who pursue successful performance careers alongside their teaching are especially encouraged to apply. It is expected that the successful candidate will be willing to contribute fully to the busy programme of ensembles and concerts within the School.

The post involves working 9 hours per week, term-time. The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and there may be a requirement for the jobholder to work reasonable additional hours and early mornings, evenings and weekends.
