The Deputy Registrar is responsible to the Registrar and will assist them in managing and delivering an efficient, warm and welcoming admissions programme at Haileybury, ensuring a professional service to parents, pupils, feeder schools, staff and the wider public with effective systems to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the admissions process.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Registrar with the entire school admissions process and to ensure that pupil targets are met. This will be achieved through a variety of means, principally by ensuring enquiries by prospective pupils, with the appropriate profile, are converted to registrations and ultimately to enrolments. The post of Deputy Registrar is a demanding one, crucial to the continued success and prosperity of the College.
The Deputy Registrar will support the Registrar in the day to day management of the Admissions team and the Admissions department, ensuring that the department: provides a first class service to the client group and in particular parents, pupils, feeder schools and staff; is at all times properly resourced and that appropriate systems and processes are in place in order to achieve efficiently and effectively all allocated responsibilities and objectives.
