These courses have been put together by the Haileybury teachers to give you an introduction to your studies in the Sixth Form.
They are a really exciting opportunity to find out a bit more about the ideas and concepts that you will be studying as well as enabling you to start developing the key skills that will help you to become successful independent learners.
You have all chosen 4 subjects to study and for each subject each week you will:
- Watch a pre-recorded lesson
- Complete tasks both independently and in small groups
- Attend the timetabled lesson in the morning (note that teachers might well use some of these periods as times for you to complete your small group work)
All of the resources will be posted on the Google Classroom on a Monday morning.
From Monday to Thursday you will need to organise your time so that you can complete the different tasks set in your different subjects. The expectation is that you should be completing between two and three hours of work per subject per week.
For Workshops, contact your teachers to discuss the subject-specific tasks that you have been set, as well as your progress with the independent projects.
