An individual is required to work within the Domestics Department in this outstanding independent boarding school. The successful candidate will be reliable and punctual. The primary responsibilities of this role is to ensure that allocated areas are cleaned to a high standard, using powered cleaning equipment provided which may include vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, carpet shampooers and any other appropriate equipment required.

The post involves working mornings, Monday to Friday, throughout the year (52 weeks). The nature of a 24hr a day, 7 days per week boarding school requires staff to work flexibly and there may be a requirement for the jobholder to work reasonable additional hours and early mornings, evenings and weekends.
