Supporting pupils’ health and wellbeing is central to life at Haileybury. We know that when pupils feel safe, balanced and supported, they can thrive academically, socially and personally.
Our Health and Wellbeing Centre provides a comprehensive, integrated service that supports both the physical health and emotional wellbeing of our pupils. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the Health and Wellbeing Centre is staffed by experienced nurses, counsellors and a physiotherapist who work closely with our GP team to deliver high quality, coordinated care.

With a strong emphasis on early intervention and preventative support, we help pupils to thrive in all aspects of school life, ensuring that medical attention and emotional support are always available when needed.
Our commitment to promoting health and wellbeing across the whole school community is reflected in our achievement of the Seacole Standard Award from the Health in Education Association (HIEDA), recognising the excellence of our health and medical provision.
Our approach to wellbeing is embedded in daily school life. Clear routines and expectations help pupils develop healthy, balanced habits.
Mobile phone use is carefully managed to support good sleep and encourage pupils to engage fully in school life.
A broad co-curricular programme provides opportunities for exercise, enjoyment and stress relief alongside academic study. Pupils are encouraged to try new activities, building confidence and resilience.
