Explore what fascinates you by combining a strong core of subjects with two specialist pathways that match your interests
Removes (Year 9) pupils continue to develop core knowledge, while furthering an understanding of themselves as independent learners through an aspect of specialism.
At the centre of this year are the core subjects studied by all pupils: English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography, Latin, theology and philosophy, and a modern foreign language. This is complemented by Digital Innovations classes - exploring the practical and ethical use of AI - alongside dedicated Reading and Wellbeing lessons.
Pupils then personalise their learning journey by selecting two ‘pathways’ from a wide range of specialisms including additional modern languages, Advanced Science and Astrophysics, Performance Drama, Computer Science: Programming and AI for the Modern World, The Greeks, and Literature and Creative Writing.

The curriculum is broad and balanced, offering pupils a wide range of academic and creative opportunities.
