Haileybury’s Pre-Diploma programme is a challenging and rewarding one-year course designed for pupils joining the School in the Fifths (Year 11).
Functioning as the vital first stage of a three-year journey, this programme serves as an excellent academic stepping stone, allowing pupils to build the solid learning foundations required to comfortably transition into the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma during their Sixth Form years (Years 12 and 13).
Throughout this fast-paced and academically rigorous year, pupils engage in an enriching curriculum, studying English language and mathematics alongside tailored options in the sciences, humanities, and languages.
Pupils work towards a series of public examinations in the Summer Term, ultimately achieving a collection of (I)GCSE qualifications.
