Sixth Form 16+
There are essentially three main levels of entry into Haileybury. Arrival into the Sixth Form is one of these and a number of pupils join the School at this stage to participate in the two-year Sixth Form programmes.
Irrespective of whether you are new to Haileybury or whether you arrive from within it, moving into the Sixth Form is a defining moment. It marks a clear transition and it brings with it a changed status, an acknowledgement that boys and girls are now to be regarded within the community as young adults. It is expected that Sixth Formers will acquire greater independence and be capable of greater self-regulation, that they will accept responsibility, learn more of the skills of management and play leading roles within the co-educational community life of the School.
