Girls' football launched at Haileybury

Senior team win first game

This term has seen the launch of the first girls' football team at Haileybury, made up of Fifth and Sixth Form pupils coached by George Allen and Michael Tookey. There is also a Lower School Club taken by Julian Alliot.

The senior girls recently won their first game against Sevenoaks 3-2 after being 2-0 down at one stage. Sarah Monk, Mary Bird and Captain Vanessa Butz were the goal scorers.

This Saturday the girls play a Hoddesdon Owls XI and, after half-term, they play St Albans and return fixture against Sevenoaks.
