Co-Education
Haileybury became fully co-educational in 1998, and since then, boys and girls have been given every opportunity to learn to understand and appreciate each other as people entirely naturally. We have seen the balanced outlook which co-education promotes to be increasingly understood and valued as the role of women in our world continues to develop at a remarkable pace.
We are proud of this commitment to co-education through which both boys and girls make a distinctive and valuable contribution to academic and community life. Respect for all, service to others and individually focused pastoral care are important parts of life at Haileybury. Discipline is achieved through leadership by example and effective, consistent teaching.
