Applying to Haileybury

Lower School (Years 7 & 8) and Middle School (Years 9 & 10) entry

Families are warmly invited to visit Haileybury during term-time to get a feel of everyday life at the school. We have Open Days in the Autumn and Summer terms and individual appointments which can be booked through the Registry.

Applicants are required to submit our Registration Form and fee, together with their latest school report (if your child is two years or less away from entry). On receipt of this your child will be formally registered on the School's lists. At Haileybury we continue to accept applications for as long as we have places available. We do not encourage applications to multiple schools and early application is always recommended.

Once a child is registered for entry, we will explain step-by-step the procedure with regard to entry tests and the formal offering of places. Please visit the Admissions Timeline page.

Please contact the Registrar, Mrs Iona Hutchinson for more information.

Sixth Form entry

Candidates are welcome to apply for entry to the Haileybury Sixth Form either to study for A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

In the first instance, candidates are requested to provide a school report and personal statement to the Registrar, Mrs Iona Hutchinson. Successful candidates are then invited to register and visit Haileybury. Examinations are taken at Haileybury in mid November of the year prior to entry.

Please visit the Admissions Timeline page.

"I first set my heart on coming to Haileybury when I visited the school last year. Leaving home (which is a 17-hour flight away) was a big step but actually being here has made it much easier as there are so many things to get involved in, the atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is so friendly." - Nga Nguyen
