Minutes of the meeting held in Pavilion on Sunday 4 September 2011 at 2.15pm.
PRESENT: Cheryl Chalk (Chair), Sarah Price, Dany Pearce, Sara Richardson, Gwen Norris, Amanda & Martyn Bishop, Claire Gratton, Natalie Buckingham, Carole Brooks, Anne King, Petrina Grint, Heather Swaby, Caroline Watkinson and Rebekah Hipkiss (Secretary).
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. MATTERS ARISING
(a) Induction Lunch
As popular as ever and seemed to run very smoothly this year. Thank you to Catering for the usual high quality food.
(b) HYT - Jo Carter will be the liaison between HPA and HYT in order to ensure that we don't have clashing events.
(c) New Secretary - This is the fifth and final year for Rebekah, so please could all reps think of parents in their house who may be interested in the position. Job description attached. If any House reps wished to take on the role, they could do so and a new House rep could be appointed in their place.
(d) AOB - If reps have AOB for a meeting, please could you let Cheryl or Rebekah know so that it can be put on the agenda.
3. FUTURE EVENTS
(a) Quiz Night.
This will be in the Attlee Room on Saturday, 1 October. We are hoping for a couple of staff tables this year. Carole Brooks will run the event. Tables can be either eight or ten people. Replies to Rebekah.
(b) New Parents Chapel Service
This is on Sunday, 2 October and is followed by coffee in the Attlee Room.
(c) Pastimes
Mulled wine and mince pies served at the end of the performance - Friday, 9 December.
(d) Mistletoe and Lanterns
The dinner on 11 December, the final weekend of the Christmas term and immediately follows on from the Carol Service. This will be held in Big School.
(e) Wardrobe Evening
Cheryl Chalk to organise a “wardrobe advice” evening. This will take place on Thursday, 13 October and will be £12/head. Ticket applications to follow, replies to Rebekah.
(f) Tennis vs Queenswood Parents - will take place in March, Claire to organise, please could reps let her know if they have any tennis players in their House.
