Parents and pupils who are seriously exploring possibilities for their sons and/or daughters at Haileybury are strongly encouraged to visit us and to meet pupils and staff. Individual appointments can be made on almost any day of the year during term-time. Appointments are generally booked up to four weeks in advance.
During the visit, we will make appointments for visitors to meet Joe Davies, the Master, and Housemasters and Housemistresses or with Dr Laura Pugsley, the Head of the Lower School. We will also organise tours of our beautiful site with pupils. Please contact the Registrar or her colleagues on 01992 706353 to arrange an appointment.
In addition to the individual appointments, there are various other opportunities to visit Haileybury alongside numbers of other visitors. Each year there is a variety of Open Days and Evenings, which are attended by groups of up to 50 families and which are generally organised with one of the three main levels of entry into Haileybury in mind - at 11+ into the Lower School, at 13+ into the Main School and at 16+ into the Sixth Form.
These are designed to be informal and yet informative occasions, when visitors can acquire a general overview of the busy life our pupils enjoy at Haileybury.
Normally there is a brief presentation, followed by individual tours of the School accompanied by a pupil. The Open Days conclude with an informal lunch, and the Open Evening with drinks, when opportunities will arise to chat to staff and pupils.
